Speakers - Roxana Daver and Jessie Chong

Speaker - Roxana Daver: Empowering Through Expertise and Empathy

Roxana Daver is an accomplished Indian-born entrepreneur and consultant whose career bridges the worlds of global corporate leadership and grassroots social change. With over 25 years of experience, she has held senior positions at international luxury and beauty brands such as Estée Lauder and Shiseido, leading brand expansion and transformation projects across Asia, including Japan. Her leadership style is marked by innovation, cultural sensitivity, and an ability to build high-performing teams that thrive in complex, cross-border markets.

In recent years, Roxana has channelled her expertise toward social enterprise and impact-driven consulting. Based in Singapore, she runs her own management consultancy that partners with initiatives empowering rural women artisans and marginalised communities in Indian villages. By combining business strategy with social mission, she supports sustainable livelihoods, capacity building, and market access for those traditionally excluded from economic opportunity. Her work reflects a deep commitment to creating long-term impact rather than short-term charity.

Beyond her consultancy, Roxana plays an active role in education, mentorship, and governance. She serves on the Board of Krea University, mentors aspiring female leaders through programmes at the Asian University for Women and the National University of Singapore, and participates in the Singapore Institute of Directors. In all these roles, she brings a vision of inclusive growth—one where women, particularly from underserved backgrounds, can realise their potential as leaders, creators, and entrepreneurs. Her journey stands as a testament to how global business expertise can be a powerful catalyst for social transformation.

Speaker -  Jessie Chong – From Corporate Heights to Community Heartbeat

Jessie Chong’s life story is one of resilience, reinvention, and radiant energy. For over three decades, she scaled the demanding corporate ladder in the banking industry, holding senior leadership positions. Yet, behind the professional success, she faced deep personal struggles. The relentless pace and high pressure took a toll, leading to a period of depression, loneliness, and self-doubt. Recognising the need for change, Jessie courageously sought help — a turning point that would transform her life.

At the age of 53, when many would contemplate slowing down, Jessie leapt into an entirely new arena — the world of pageantry. Entering the Mrs Singapore Classic 2018 competition, she not only became a finalist but also emerged as a crown winner in later contests. Pageantry gave her more than a title; it gave her a platform. Determined to deepen her understanding of human resilience, Jessie pursued studies in psychology, eventually earning her Master’s degree in Counselling. This academic journey armed her with the knowledge and tools to support others navigating mental health challenges.

Today, Jessie is a passionate mental health advocate and community builder. Her work ranges from delivering empowering talks to organising outreach initiatives for women, seniors, and underrepresented groups. She champions causes like positive ageing, self-worth, and mental wellness, embodying her belief that “life can be great after 50 — just like fine wine, it gets better with age.” Her delivery style is unmistakable — high-energy, warm, and deeply personal, blending humour, vulnerability, and practical advice. At the PX Anniversary Night, her presence was a highlight — she captivated the audience not just with her words, but with her authenticity, leaving many inspired to rethink how they want to live their own legacy.
